The first ever Kids ‘N Kritters Heal One World Day benefitting the nonprofit organization Heal One World will take place on Saturday, Nov. 23rd from 11 am to 5 pm at Paradise Cove Club House in Malibu, CA.
Heal One World provides free alternative healing options as well as yoga and tai chi classes to those that are homeless or low income, as well as veterans. It also supports and educates on children & animal causes and global issues.
This unique day and evening will be filled with healing demonstrations, vegan treats & film screenings. A live & silent auction will be held as well as yoga classes on the beach, children’s tai chi demonstrations and Doga – yoga with your dog!
Special film screenings will also be a part of this fun and educational day. The Paw Project, about the inhumane declawing of cats by the veterinarian/filmmaker working to have it banned in America, Dr. Jennifer Conrad, will be featured. Dr. Conrad will also speak.
Opening for The Paw Project will be 2 award-winning shorts – The Pet Matchmakers Happily Ever After highlighting stories of rescue animals and the people that saved them. And Kindness – A Super Smiley Dogumentary sharing how children and animals can learn from one another.
Skye Kelly is the Founder & Executive Director of Heal One World. A filmmaker, healer & yoga instructor in her own right, she is also the creator and producer of the Awareness Film Festival, an annual benefit for H.O.W., as well as The Zen Den at the Sundance Film Festival, a special kind of gifting suite.
