Designed for our Puppy Playschool graduates and other friends ages of 5-9 months with a bit of know-how, this intermediate class was created to bridge the gap between the Puppy Playschool and the AKC Canine Good Citizen class. We will build upon each puppy’s basic manners skills and help them acquire the expertise to move to the next level, their Canine Good Citizen title.
Through incremental play sessions, we’ll continue to build a strong socialization foundation and take each puppy’s self control to the next level.
Advanced obedience skills such as stay, leave it, come when called and walking on leash will be honed and perfected.
The AKC S.T.A.R. puppy test will be given to those puppies who missed out on our Puppy Playschool and will give them another chance to become S.T.A.R.S.
Puppies between the ages of 5-9 months are welcome. Those who are new to Dog’s Best Friend must have trainer’s approval before signing up, so please contact us at http://dogsbf.net/contact to inquire before registering.
Your puppy’s health is our number one concern, therefore all puppies must have received two sets of vaccinations, and have proof of a clean fecal test before attending class (documentation required). In addition, a veterinary health form will be e-mailed to you once your registration is received. This form must be completed and signed by your vet, and received by Dog’s best Friend prior to attending the first class. This is mandatory – No exceptions. Please contact us with questions/concerns.
Eight-week course meets Thursday evenings and starts March 27, 2014 (No class May 8)
