A very special Los Angeles community event to support pet adoption is scheduled for this Sunday March 10, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“A Second Chance” Pet Adoption and St. Patty’s Pet Pageant / Pet Fair will take place. at:
Good Neighbor Park
2800 Studebaker Rd.
Long Beach, CA. 90815
The event is hosted by The Pet Post in partnership with Pet Sit Pros and they have planned a fun-filled afternoon including music, entertainment, shopping, eating, and a special St. Patty’s pet pageant and parade.
There is no cost to attend the event – attendees are simply requested to bring a bag of dog food for the Homeless With Dogs pet food and supply drive. Homeless with Dogs is a unique organization that helps care for the pets of the Long Beach homeless society.
The following non-profit dog and cat rescues and animal humane groups will be at the event, hoping to find homes for the many homeless dogs and cats in Los Angeles:

- Long Beach Felines
- Long Beach Spay & Neuter

Everyone is welcome to join the St. Patty’s pet pageant and pet parade – bring your family, friends, and pets dressed in your best St. Patty’s outfit and join the fun!
The pet pageant and pet parade will start at 12:00 p.m.
Oh – one more thing. The entertainment will include a VERY special appearance by some very famous people. But I’ll post about that tomorrow…
