The American Kennel Club has compiled its annual list of most popular dog breeds in major US cities, based on registration data and postal zip codes. Here is the Los Angeles data for 2012, shown side by side with that for 2011. Note that this year they only posted the top 5 breeds in the per-city breakdowns, as opposed to last year when they provided the top 10 per city.
