Add Apple Stores to your list. I was able to shop for and purchase my first iPhone at Apple while accompanied by my dog, a chow/retriever mix, in San Francisco several years ago. On the other hand, the AT&T store which I visited that same day, in order to get my iPhone turned on, refused my dog entrance. Funny how something like that stick with you even years later.
